Lost Wager

I heard someone lost a bet.

That someone said he/she will have his/her hand cut off if the paper gets signed.

The paper was approved and signed.

Now, I think someone owes us a hand.

Lesson: Do not be too overconfident unless you're a hundred and one percent sure, or you will end up eating your words. Don't put other people down just 'coz you're up there. Put your foot where your mouth is (in that person's case, his/her hand.) .
